Pan Canadian Engagement Strategy

Attention Small Contact Centres: Contact Centre Canada Needs your Input to Help Your Business

Contact Centre Canada is very excited about their Pan Canadian Engagement Strategy project that is the result of a series of “You Talk. We Listen” summits held with industry leaders and stakeholders from government, education and training, and special interest groups from across Canada in 2009.

These summits identified several keys challenges facing the contact centre industry, including the need to:

  • Foster stronger partnerships with post-secondary institutions
  • Increase recruiters’ knowledge on how to access a broader labour pool
  • Improve industry image
  • Identify the unique challenges of small contact centres

To address these issues, Contact Centre Canada is holding a series of consultations in five cities across Canada this Fall. The industry leaders in small centres are a key group in the consultation process.

The purpose of this specific consultation is to help the contact centre industry to fulfill their on-going human resource needs across Canada.  They also want to develop a stronger understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by small contact centres, so that their needs are address in the eventual strategic plan.

ACCA Launches the Vendor Marketplace

The ACCA is proud to announce the official launch of the ACCA Vendor Marketplace. The Marketplace provides consumers with an easier way to access product and service information from contact centre suppliers. The Marketplace is a tool that can be used by contact centre professionals and any business looking for contact centre services and/or products.
